Kindergarten Care (KCare)

Overview of KCare

KCare is provided to parents who require a full-day service for their child. MK works closely with our KCare service provider to provide care services, and time and space for children to play, explore and discover through specially designed environments with carefully chosen resources.

Free Play provides children with a range of play experiences that can inspire their creativity and imagination.

Monday - Friday
7am – 7pm

MK + KCare

From 2026 onwards, the KCare service at MK@Sengkang Green will operate only with a single KCare session in the afternoon.

During term time when MK is in operation, MK teachers will receive the children who are in KCare from 7:00 AM and KCare will take over from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

During school holidays or when when MK is closed, KCare will continue to operate between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Note that KCare centres can close for up to six days, in addition to Teachers' Day, Children's Day, and gazaetted public holidays, each calendar year.

Note: There is no breakfast served between 7am to 8am. However, children will have their morning snack (20 mins) in MK between 9am to 10am, depending on individual MK class timetable.

KCare Fees

The monthly fee for KCare@Sengkang Green, under EduSMART Learning Hub is:

$190 for Singapore Citizens (SCs), note that fee is already after $150 basic subsidy for SCs.
$340 for Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).

KCare fees are:

To be paid directly to the KCare vendor; and
Also payable during the June and December holidays.
